Teen Vogue February 2008

Has anyone seen the new issue of Teen Vogue? I love this issue already. I just love the cover. Chanel, Ali, and Karlie all in one magazine and it's packed with the latest in fashion and the cutest clothes. This just can't be true. The only thing that would be truer is if I could figure out who the next Target GO Designer is (not Loeffler Randall, I just love her stuff).Ahh.....we can't have everything that we want.

Has anyone seen the January issue of Details magazine? The fact that I've never heard of this magazine before is null-in-void because this issue is going to fly off the shelves.Today I was in the store and just happened (yeah,right)to stumble upon it and there is no doubt that this is a legit fashion magazine (for men). The cover is simply to die for and who can get enough of Zac Efron? Enough said.

Haute Couture Spring 2008

I know that it's been an extremely long time but, this time I'm taking this on as a full time commitment. Simply because this is what I L.O.V.E. Everything about fashion appeals to me, each and every aspect. Well,this has to be my favorite season yet. I'd have to call it the most wonderful season that has ever emerged from the minds of fashion greats like Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier and,Christian Dior. The only way that I can describe this season would be to call everything that I've seen BEAUTIFUL!

It's been awhile...

I tried to remember my promise but, hey it's summer! Come On! Well, today's my B'day I'm officially and finally 14 years-old. This is the "Best Day Ever" I must say.My wardrobe gets updated just about everyday. Time for you to hit up Target's Clearance racks. I've found some amazing pieces. I can't wait to go out in a little bit. This going to the best day I'm telling you. More about my wardrobe later, I'll even be having some interesting topics from here on out...stay tuned.....

This Time Of Year.....

This is my favorite time of year.This is the time when all of the things that are on the clearance rack are still in style and are quite up-to-date. These are the things that I'm able to take advantage of as I often find certain pieces that absolutely nobody has. I could make a list of the great things that I find but, that would take forever. I even found a few pieces today and there's no telling how many my mother will find for me when she goes today. I found a cute purse (It's yellow though), on Clearance at Dillards, that's going to be a nice little gift! I found all of these Proenza Schouler pieces that I love including this (which I swear looks better on a real person than it does on this crash dummy)that I can't wait to wear somewhere! My advice is to look in unlikely places and base all your purchases on the fact that this might be the last time that you see such a great piece so, doesn't that make you want to go shopping right now?

Fashion Today.....

I find that the trends of today are nothing like those of the past even though there is nothing new under the sun. If your like me and have magazines as far back as 2003 you'll find that the trend of this season and that are only repeated and may even have anew touch or name behind them. Makes you rethink buying new clothes every season doesn't it? Not that there is anything wrong with that it's just that if you are going to be in style at least make it your own that's my philosophy. I always revert back to the days when I literally thought about nothing else but having a new look every time I stepped out of the door. In an effort to be different than my peers. Of course, I thought that all they could see was poverty so that's all they had to hold on to was having the latest "trend" before anyone else had a chance to keep up. I specifically recall wearing a certain shirt that it just so happens that me and about three other girls wore on the same day (not on purpose and in different colors) of which I just happened to stand out because I accessorized properly. This brings me to the point that it is OK to wear the latest trend I wholeheartedly support this factor however it is extremely important that you put your own spin on them. Knowing certain arts come in handy also, such as, beading, knitting, crocheting, and many other things. All of these things fall into play as you dress yourself each and everyday always remebering these tips.

I'm finally getting around to posting on here and starting anew. This is supposed to be a fashion blog and that's exactly what it will be. There will be no more half done posts or three-month periods where I won't do anything with it or my wordpress blog so, this is basically an introduction for me back into the blogger world. All I have to do is find my next subject and I'll be back to business!
